Qualified Autism Services Practitioner-Supervisor [QASP-S]

The QASP-S credential certifies that certificants have demonstrated mid-level (QASP-S) knowledge, skill, and their competency in autism and Applied Behavior Analysis has been thoroughly assessed. The midlevel QASP-S provides behavioral health services under the supervision of a QBA or above behavior analyst or a licensed or certified professional within the scope of Applied Behavior Analysis.This course is equivalent to the BCaBA certification offered by the BACB.

BMI Coursework Requirements

  • Candidate must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have completed a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Additional Requirements

(To be done independently by the student before appearing for the QABA exam. These are not part of the BMI course provision.)

  • Fieldwork Hours - 1000 Hours
  • Supervision Hours - 5% of Independent Fieldwork Hours (50 Hours)

Fieldwork and/or Supervision can be provided by BMI on a case-by-case basis as per availability.
