Smita Awasthi, M.A. (Psych), Ph.D (ABA), BCBA-D
Dr. Awasthi, is a psychologist, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral. She started her career on a UNICEF project in community-based rehabilitation of people with special needs and has spent 38 years working with individuals and families affected by autism and other developmental disabilities across the lifespan.

As the first Board Certified Behavior Analyst from Asia and the region she provided leadership in the dissemination of scientific interventions for people with autism as a mentor, educator and interventionist.

Dr. Awasthi founded BMI School the only ABA Course provider approved by ABA International, USA and the BACB for graduate and post graduate students in India and the region. It has contributed over 60% of the behavior analysts in India.

To bring quality services in the treatment of autism, she founded “Behavior Momentum India” and currently serves as its Executive Director. BMI pioneered 1:1 services in India in 2010. It has 8 intervention centers across India and the team provides intensive behavior analytic treatment to pediatric and adolescent populations with clients from Africa, Canada, Germany, Nepal, U.K, U.S.A, and U.A.E.

Dr. Awasthi has forged research collaborations with the University of Stockholm, and Univ of North Texas for research in autism. She is also founder past president of the not-for-profit NGO “ABA-India”, an affiliated Chapter of ABA International, USA. This umbrella body organized many international conferences on autism and engaged with the Govt. of India for the recognition of the profession of behavior analysis. Dr. Awasthi’s research interests are in “language development and verbal behavior”. As part of her doctoral program, she studied the emergence of vocalization in one of the largest cohorts of non-vocal children with autism. She has three publications and co-authored one book Chapter to her credit. Her services towards dissemination of behavior analysis, and capacity building have been recognized by the Governor of India’s largest and most populous state of Uttar Pradesh, by Metro-city Rotary Kolkata, and by the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis (ABAI). Dr. Awasthi is currently engaged in building technological systems for transfer of technology for training in rural areas and building a research lab for advanced research in the treatment of autism.

Sridhar Aravamudhan, PGDM, BCBA
Sridhar Aravamudhan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who started his career in Applied Behavior Analysis with Behavior Momentum India. As a senior trainer, Sridhar went on to specialize with pre-adolescent children with autism training teaching them to acquire language , communication , play, leisure and academic skills using proven behavior analytic procedures. Sridhar also worked extensively in understanding challenging Behaviors and helping parents implement behavior management procedures based on the evidence based methods guided by the boards ethical standards.
In Sep'2013, Sridhar became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst after successfully completing academic course requirements with Ball State University, Muncie, IN, United States. Since then, as a consultant he has been training paraprofessionals to teach children with autism a wide range of skills based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, in his prior experience of 20 years, Sridhar has been head of Business Development and Operations with several leading global corporations such as Pepsico , British Petroleum and Tech Mahindra. He also has experience in teaching management subjects to MBA students in Amity University, Bangalore.

Reut Peleg, MA, BCBA
Reut Peleg received h​er​ MA in General Psychology in 2007 from the University Walden. Since 1999, Reut Peleg has worked with children and adolescents with special educational needs in the UK, Israel (where she was the supervisor of inclusion in ALUT - the National Society of Israeli Autism), and in Portugal (where she is the co-founder of an ABA center, created in 2008).
H​​er​ ​practical experience includes working with individuals of various age groups diagnosed with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Down syndrome, Epilepsy, Academic Failure, behavioral and emotional difficulties.
She has coordinated intensive and specific behavioral intervention programs in various clinical and educational settings, training professionals in the application of behavioral strategies and various education programs.
Currently, Reut Peleg has been coordinator and speaker of the first certification program approved by the BACB in Portugal, in addition to her clinical and general responsibilities as director of the ABA Center.

Lauren Tretina, M.A.Ed, BCBA
Lauren’s journey with autism started 19 years ago in University where she worked with a learner doing intensive teaching and life skills training under the supervision of a BCBA. Since then, Lauren has worked with a vast diversity of learners wearing the hat of a autism/inclusion teacher, curriculum designer, behavior analyst, supervisor, and staff trainer thus both in the US and abroad.
Lauren has been abroad for the past nine years, five years in Belgium and more recently in Italy. While abroad, she created the Pre School to Grade 2 classroom for children who are differently abled at the International school in Belgium. Currently, she works with expat families and clients by incorporating the principles of ABA into their lives. In the near future she will start a position as the director of learning support at an international school in Saudi Arabia.
She has a depth of knowledge in teaching diverse populations including adults, teachers, and parents. She values personal growth, connecting with others, being in the present moment and making a lasting difference in the life of others.

Lina M. Slim, Ph.D., BCBA-D, CCC-SLP
Dr. Lina Slim, is a dually certified SLP & BCBA-D with over 30 years-experience, specializing in the diagnosis and management of children with autism, neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders, and apraxia. She is Founding Executive Director of ASAP – A Step Ahead Program, LLC, since 2004. Dr. Slim is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP), ABA Online Program. Dr. Slim’s clinical and research interests focus on disseminating best practices in the application of the science of behavior analysis, training staff to gain competencies in the application of behavior learning principles, empowering families with the knowledge and skills necessary to advocate for implementation of best practices for their children and promoting a culture that embraces interprofessional education and collaborative practice with a family centered approach. Dr. Slim presents and consults nationally and internationally, in the areas of autism, apraxia, speech-language assessment and interventions, evidence-based practices, parent and staff training, and interprofessional education and collaborative practice, and has published peer-reviewed research. Dr. Slim is the recipient of the 2005 Children Empowerment Award, the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 ASHA ACE award. and the 2014 New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NJSHA) Distinguished Clinical Achievement Award. She is Chair of NJSHA Interprofessional Autism Conference (IPAC), Board of Directors Member of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment (ASAT), Co-Chair of the NJSHA- NJABA Collaborative Practice Group, Chief Communication Officer Liaison to ABAI Behavior Analysis SIG on Supervision (BASIGS) to the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), Board Member of ABAC, Inc., Internal Continuing Education Committee (ICEC), Executive Member of the Speech Pathology and Applied Behavior Analysis (SPABA) ABAI SIG and the BACB Subject Matter Expert on the Item Review Committee. Dr. Slim is an ABAI approved coordinator for the Versified Course Sequence (VCS) for the BCBA certificate, at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), Child and Youth Psychiatry – Mental Health Training Institute. Dr. Slim is a full member of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), NJSHA, Morris County Speech and Hearing Association (MCSHA), Union County Speech and Hearing Association (UCSHA), NJABA, ABAI, and the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA).

Ling, BCBA
Ling is the first Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) who came back to Malaysia in 2015. While working towards her certification, Ling gained valuable experiences within the field in the UK, Kuwait and then Hong Kong prior to her return home. In her first few years back in Malaysia, she found the awareness of behaviour analysis low and surrounded by misconceptions. She started small, providing behavioural services with a center that believed in ABA as a fundamental treatment for children with Autism, while working on getting her team credentialed. She talked in organizations, schools and universities, spreading word of Applied Behaviour Analysis and the importance of getting the credential to facilitate the delivery of proper, high quality services that help clients improve, in line with the first ethical principle of Behaviour Analysis - to do no harm. Therefore, Ling started Behaviour Analysis Academy (B.A.A.) the first institute in Malaysia as well as South East Asia, as a stepping stone towards having ABA in this country, on the right track to help everyone in need of evidence-based treatment. Ling strive to make the institute to develop and provide world-class Behaviour Analysis and courses to ensure the consumers of the practice of ABA receive evidence-based, datadriven, high quality and professional conduct from behaviour analysis practitioners.

Shweta Ghayal, BCBA
I did Masters in Counseling Psychology. After working at an inclusive setting, I decided to pursue Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I completed Masters in ABA in 2015 from Caldwell University, New Jersey and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2016. After coming back to India, I did home- programming with kids with autism and developmental disability. At the end of 2018, I founded Purple Clouds Center for Behavior Analysis. I provide services to the children with autism and developmental disabilities, supervise the therapists who work one-on-one with the children. I also coach parents using behavior analytic services.

Mrs Shruti Kundu, BCBA
Mrs Shruti Kundu specializes in Behavior Therapy for children / adolescence with special needs. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Shruti has more than 9 years of experience in providing therapy for children and adolescents with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, learning difficulties / disabilities (dyslexia, etc.), mental retardation and other developmental disorders. She has worked in special schools, mainstream schools, clinics, NGOs and hospitals, practicing Behavior Therapy techniques on children with special needs. Shruti also has experience in Clinical and Counselling Psychology. Presently, she is providing therapy to special need children and adolescence in individual and group sessions using ABA techniques.
Shruti has obtained her ABA certification from Florida Institute of Technology, U.S.A. She has M.Phil in Clinical Psychology and is presently pursing her PhD. She has completed her Masters in Applied Psychology. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma Degree in Guidance and Psychological Counselling.
