Behavior Momentum India was established in 2010 and started as a small organization for providing intervention to children with autism based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. It had its first intervention center in Bangalore with 9 children. Following this, due to the immense need for quality services we rapidly grew to 9 centers across India serving hundreds of children.

BMI services focus on evidence-based practices and provide children on the spectrum with 1:1 therapy. All therapy we provide is based on the science of ABA and follows ethical codes and standards set by international bodies.

Due to the absence of ABA education ,in India, to meet the needs of children on the spectrum, BMI School was set up as a branch of BMI to provide ABA training to meet the increasing demand .BMI School has provided training to and produced most of the certified professionals and paraprefessionals in the feild in the region.

BMI Schools goal is to provide accessible ABA education while maintaining high quality and standards, to anyone who seeks it.

Our long term vision is to have an abundance of ABA professionals in the region so that all children on the spectrum can seek therapy , no matter where they are located, with ease.

Under the leadership of Dr. Smita Awasthi (BCBA-D), the program director at BMI School, we have completed 11 successful Cohorts under the BACB certification, from 2013 - 2022. Upon the exit of BACB internationally, BMI School has been approved by QABA to continue providing courses towards internationally accredited ABA certifications.

Apart from India, BMI School has students from several countries including U.S, U.A.E, Nepal, Philippines, Greece, Kuwait, Maldives, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Tanzania, etc, and is also involved in creating a behavior analysis community in the Indian Subcontinent.
